MTN Hoods is a web app that assists customers of the largest telecommunication company in Ghana, MTN to quickly recharge their internet bundles, purchase airtime and access news content. The platform has an average of one million visits per day and customers who run out of airtime while browsing the internet are automatically redirected to to recharge and continue with their task.
This project was to mainly tackle these there action points;
The design process started with user research where selected users of www.mtnhoods.com were interviewed on their experience with the platform. After gathering some insights from the conversation a desk research was initiated to carefully understand how the can be executed visually to achieve the set goals.
After we moved into low-fidelity designs where we set to outline the flows for the app with a clear focus on improving the experience.
These low-fidelity designs were presented to the stakeholders of the project including users and new insights and feedback were gathered.
