It’s been over 50 sprints, hundreds of features shipped across five major products, and thousands of team calls — all in the pursuit of creating better digital experiences.
Last week marked the end of my two-year journey at Dexwin, and as I wrap up my final sprint, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here. Over the past two years and two months, I’ve had the privilege to design user experiences for some exciting products that impact millions. Among them were the MyMTN app, MTN Pulse, MTN Hoods, MTN E-Shop, and Saving Grains app. Each project taught me something new, and each challenge helped me grow as a product designer and leader.
I am proud of the amount of users I empower in my line of work where I focused on designing intuitive and accessible experiences that bring digital solutions closer to everyone across multiple demographics and platforms, from young Ghanaians using MTN Pulse to rural communities benefiting from Saving Grains.
I worked with a talented team across MTN Ghana, and I was able to help launch and iterate on features that now serve millions of users delivering impact at scale and increasing revenues. From streamlined user flows to visually engaging interfaces and impactful user testing and research, each element was crafted to make users’ digital interactions smoother and more valuable.
My role gave me the opportunity to work with brilliant engineers, product managers from MTN Ghana, founders and senior executives at Savings Grains and colleague product designers internally. I’m grateful to each of my teammates for their insights and dedication — we achieved so much because of our shared passion for innovation.
Looking ahead after an incredible two years of designing digital experience — filled with valuable lessons, countless sprints, and amazing team collaborations — I’m excited to be stepping into a new challenge in product management and growth for a fintech.
It’s a big step forward, and I’m grateful for the experiences that have shaped my journey so far.
Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of my journey so far!
Looking forward to applying everything I’ve learned to make a meaningful impact in my next chapter.
Cheers,
Yaw.
